What, do I look trustworthy or something?
So today while I was courting sunburn holding horses for my farrier, he came out to me. Chalk up an amusing end to an unfortunately memorable week.

Current Mood: bemused
Current Music: Bruce Cockburn - Big Circumstance - "Shipwrecked At The Stable Door"

I'm not sure about trustworthy, but you're certainly hugworthy.

*HUG!*

He even looks like you (in that 'tall, nordic, cute' way). He's also a musician and a scuba diver. Want an introduction? :-)

This made me snort so loud that mcl commented: "That had to hurt."

Hope not to be contributing any more unfortunately memorable weeks to your life :)

for my farrier

Every time I read that last night it said, "For my father," and I'm glad I waited to look at it again this morning before I commented. :)

I think you were looking too hard at the books with YOUR NAME ON THEM at the B&N last night and strained something. :)

My first thought was "huh, people still do that?" But that's presumably the Massachusetts rubbing off on me - after spending Saturday night at a glorious Black Tie wedding, 150 guests, key phrases from the rabbi's speech including "There have been over 6000 gay weddings in Massachusetts in the last year, and the sky hasn't fallen" my perspective on such things is perhaps not something to be taken as mainstream :-)

On the one hand, yes. (and I live in California, after all.) On the other hand, I live in a conservative farming community. And on the gripping hand, someone who is only just now getting around to admitting this to other people (at the age of 42) is arguably still in need of practice.

Never fear, miss. You don't look at all trustworthy. :)

One of the things I treasure about our friendship is the kindness with which you foster my illusions. :)
