as is right for you who were given this kind of city

Do not say the moment was imagined;
Do not stoop to strategies like this.

As someone long prepared for the occasion;
In full command of every plan you wrecked --
Do not choose a coward’s explanation
that hides behind the cause and the effect.

This song kicked my ass today, as did the poem it's based on, so I'm sharing.

Did I ever complain that there are no good restaurants near CSU{H,EB}? I was wrong. I had some of the best dim sum I've ever had (Altavistans, that includes the Hong Kong Flower Lounge) at New Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant on Mission in Hayward, in the gap between finishing my Micro test and heading back for lab.

It's Friday. It's about damned time.

That may be my favorite song on "Ten New Songs". (Also, I do really like the icon.)

What I like about the song is that it's pointy on both ends.

The icon isn't Smoke, but it could be without much tweaking.

I recently found to my dismay that Hong Kong Flower Lounge is no more. There is now a fancy-ish Asian (fusion maybe) place in its place. They said they serve dim sum for lunch, but not at dinner. le sigh.

Yes, I knew that. There's an HKFL in Millbrae (intersection of Millbrae Ave & ECR) but I have not eaten at it (or even reviewed the menu to see if it's related, but I have the impression it is.)
