a tribute to Dorothy Parker
While policing some give-away notebooks for written-on pages, I came across this, which probably dates from 1986 or so. It pleases me enough to make it public (unlike a number of other bits of writing I unearthed, which are best composted.)

I hide inside my cave of stone
With music and with reading
If words and songs can heal my wounds
then why am I still bleeding?

Current Mood: busybusy

I am not surprised that you write poetry
I am surprised that you had not previously archived it.
I continue to marvel at your organization.

To do that, I'd have to find more, so don't hold your breath. But the encouragement is welcome. ;-)
