ah, spring - Ambar
Well, there are many ways to celebrate the end of finals. I seem to have chosen staying up half the night rereading Harry Potter slash. I don't know whether to thank tamago
, or shake them.
Current Mood: amused
Current Music: The Pretenders - The Singles - "Middle Of The Road"
(Did you find anything particularly good?)

I commend you to tamago
's latest, if you haven't already. Poked around some on that site, discovered empirically that the rating system isn't worth much, found one good and several awfuls (sorry, no breadcrumbs), and went back to reread Invisible To See instead.

Don't thank me. It wasn't my fault. Don't shake me. It wasn't my fault. I had nothing to do with it. I disavow all knowledge. I don't even know how to make strawberry lemonade.
Ooops. I'm lying again, aren't I? Shake or thank, I'm glad you're, uh, suitably distracted. ;-)

You have excellent comedic timing, and while I don't generally have patience for the whole bursting into song musical theater thing, I got enough of the jokes that it didn't spoil the rest. :)
I'm sure it was fine slash. In any case, staying up half the night reading something that you definitely do not need to have read by tomorrow is how I celebrate that kind of liberation -- like when the software release is finally out the door. I'm pleased to hear that I'm not the only one.
