Splendor has arrived...
... and she is even more beautiful than the picture suggests. The handle feels just right: solid and warm, satiny in texture. I was afraid the blade would be razor-sharp, which it is not: also perfect. I trailed the tip down my arm, and the weight of the whole thing held it perfectly.

Yum. And yum and yum and also yum. I had to resist the urge to try her on the shirt I'm wearing. There must be some dead-enough-to-convert-to-rags tshirts around here somewhere...

(John Enos, the maker, is going to be at a knife show at the Hyatt Rickey's in Palo Alto this weekend, September 29-30, if any locals are curious.)

It just amazed me, when I started looking, how many knives there are in the world that Aren't My Knife.
