look out, they're in the kitchen again

We keep claiming this is part of the research for the auction dinner we're cooking at the end of January, but really, we just like to cook.

dinner: shrimp, marinated and then wrapped in pancetta and grilled on skewers. This was appallingly tasty and has definitely made itself a place on the dinner menu.

gratineed cauliflower (with yummy grated parmesano-reggiano and lots of butter). I imagine we'll use this as one of the vegetables...

pan-braised veal rolls, stuffed with a mixture of spinach and pancetta. Once we get the right sort of meat for these, they'll be unbeatable.
