obsession or self-sabotage?
Got back to elflet's last night and the new, yes, I said NEW iBook was having screen problems. [Bad language omitted for lack of originality.] So instead of doing something sensible, like going to bed by 10:30pm so I can be in at work at something resembling the advertised hour, I am doing a reverse restore from the new iBook to the old (of huge amounts of data I just *deleted* in preparation for donating the old iBook to a fellow starving student.) Sulk. Stomp.

Observed: studying Biology in spring is distracting, as it only increases my tendency to salivate over the particularly tasty TAs instead of, you know, concentrating on the lecture. Material. Other material. Stop that!

Mmm, vertebrate phylogeny.

Current Mood: cross, just cross
Current Music: Talking Heads, Remain In Light, "Crosseyed and Painless"

Dayum... I'm sorry, hon. That truly sucketh... at least Apple will have to cope with it.

You know, just two or three more cycles with trying to fix it, and they might just give up and give you a new one. Small consolation, to be sure...

just two or three more cycles with trying to fix it,

No, no. So far the old one has broken once, and the new one has broken once.
